Irene Lillian Macgregor Passed on: June 15th, 2007 MacLellan's Brook - Irene Lillian MacGregor, 91, Glen Haven Manor, formerly of MacLellan's Brook, passed away June 15, 2007, in the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in Murray River, PEI, she was a daughter of the late Percy Albert and Rebecca (Bainbridge) Ward. She was a longtime resident of MacLellan's Brook. Lilly was a former employee of MacKenzie's Nursey. She was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church, MacLennan's Mountain, a member of the W. M. S. and a longtime member of the Red Cross. Surviving are sons, James (Yvonne), Eastern Passage; Sandy (Emily), MacLellan's Brook; Glenn (Holly), New Glasgow; daughters, Janet (Barry) MacKenzie, MacLellan's Brook; Sheila (Rev. Grant) Johnston, Ontario; 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Agnes Bainbridge, Grand Manan; brothers, Gerald (Eileen) Ward, Ontario; Donnie Murray, New Glasgow; special friend, and sister-in-law, Libby Pollard, New Glasgow. She was predeceased by her husband, James Clarence MacGregor, six sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the H. W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday from H. W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grant Johnston and Rev. Charles McPherson officiating, assisted by Jessie Johnson. Burial will be in Castle Hill Cemetery, MacLellan's Brook.
