OBITUARY:
Mr. Ricky Lee Sullivan, 51, of Vanceboro, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice. He was born on April 26, 1961. Ricky was a member of Ayden United Methodist Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the NRA and loved hunting. He was an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by his parents, Vance and Josette Sullivan of Ayden; three daughters; Samantha, Summer, and Marissa Sullivan of the home; brother, Thierry Sullivan of Hope Mills; two sisters; Daniele Hill and husband, Perry, of Smithfield, and Michele Lister and husband, David, of Stafford, Va.; stepson, Adam Butler of Winterville; and a special friend; Michael Butler.
Funeral service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Ayden United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Jim McConnell. Burial will follow in Ayden Cemetery.
