Wanda Juenke, age 96, of Kerrville, passed away on February 12, 2016.

She was born February 24, 1919 in Harper, Texas to Emil Fiedler and Bertha Klein Fiedler. She married Harvey Juenke on November 20, 1946 in Harper. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1985.

Wanda grew up on her father’s ranch in Harper, Texas. She worked for many years for Sears & Roebuck as a telephone supervisor and also in the Catalog Sales department. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband, Wanda was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother Alanso Fiedler and a sister who passed away as an infant.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Juenke of Kerrville, her niece Margaret (Brian) Surratt of Austin, Texas; nephew, David Fiedler (Bobbie) of Bryan, Texas as well as numerous great-
nieces and nephews.

Rosary service will be 6PM Tuesday, February 16, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
Visitation will be 7-8PM Tuesday, February 16, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
Mass will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Scott Janysek as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Fiedler, Paul Fiedler, Eric Fiedler, Kent Fiedler and Brian Surratt.

The family would like to thank Hilltop Village for their care and support, and a special thank you for the loving care given by her caregivers, Eloida Garcia and Julie Davis.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
