Cindy Thomas, age 60, a resident of Irving her whole life, passed away on February 12, 2016. Born on August 22, 1955 in Dallas, TX to Roy Richburg, Jr. and Virgie Loftis. Cindy worked as an Insurance adjuster at Student Insurance Company for 25 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Thomas in 2005; grandchild, Cynthia Phegley and one brother, David Richburg. Survived by her loving daughters, Marchelle Black and husband Patrick of Grand Prairie, Mindy Bethuram of Springtown, Dea Adams of Euless; eight grandchildren, Cameron, Collin, David, Allissa, Caitlyn, Nikki, Junior and Chris; brothers, Donald Richburg and wife Cheryl of Carrollton, Ronald Richburg and wife Debbie of Houston and Steve Richburg and wife Kathy of Irving. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving. Funeral service 11:00 a.m., February 18 at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. Pastor Patrick Wooten to officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association in her name.
