Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at Forbis & Dick Funeral Service, Guilford College Chapel. Interment will follow in Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
Louise was born Nov. 22, 1913, in Guilford County, to the late Grover Cleveland Ozment and Ethel Brame Ozment. She retired from Blue Bell Manufacturing Company in 1976, after 40 years of service and was a former member of Temple Baptist Church. Her husband, Clyde D. Cummings Sr., owner of Patterson Seafood and Cummings Poultry Farm, and son, Ralph Herman Cummings, preceded her in death.
Surviving relatives are daughter, Mary Lou Strong and husband, Tom of Greensboro; sons, Jerry McMasters and wife, Joann of Greensboro, Ray Cummings and wife, Barbara of Greensboro, Don Cummings and wife, Linda of Greensboro, Lynn Cummings and wife, Jeanette of Colfax, Clyde D. Cummings Jr. and wife, Doris of Summerfield, and Frank Cummings of Greensboro; two sisters, Hazel Weeks of Summerfield, Mae Brown of Springfield, Ohio; brother, Richard Ozment of Gastonia; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
