Letha "Lucille" Davis, 88, Overbrook, Kansas, died October 22, 2011. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, October 25 at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 26 at the funeral home. Letha was born July 14, 1923 in Joplin, Missouri, to parents Claude Esau and Alpha Hamon who preceded her in death. She lived on 66th Street in Kansas City for more than 50 years before moving to Overbrook. Her husband, Lester, preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by a son, Ron Davis (Joni), Gardner, Kansas; two daughters, Beverly Johnson, Overbrook, Kansas and Sharon Mullarkey (Charles), Kirkland, Washington; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
