Theresa “Lynn” Long, 60, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016.
Lynn was born in Edgecombe County on February 22, 1955 and was the daughter
of John Herman and Thelma Long.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Tyson;
sister, Gail Polland; and brother, John Edward Long.
She leaves a devoted family that includes her daughter, Tracy Danielle Whaley (Thomas) of Nashville;
grandchildren, Raelyn and Michael Whaley;
sisters, Beverly Bulluck (Jimmy) of Rocky Mount and Ann Wilson (Allen) of Yorktown, Va.;
brother, Ray Long (Sylvia) of Rocky Mount;
along with many loving nieces, nephews, and family friends.
