Lindamae Manners ,72, of Pohatcong Township, NJ, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 at her home. Linda was born in Pen Argyl, PA on June 6, 1943 to the late Lester and Helen Larrison Everett.
Linda was employed with Bardot Plastics as an assembler and, most recently, was a food services worker for Maschio's Food Service at Pohatcong Township School, Harmony Township School and Lopatcong Township Schools. Linda was a 1962 graduate of Phillipsburg High School. She enjoyed cruising and crocheting. Linda was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Pohatcong Township.
Linda is survived by her husband of 53 years, George Manners, Jr. of Pohatcong Township; a son, Stephen Manners and his wife, Maggie of Pohatcong Township; a daughter, Deborah Manners of Sussex, NJ; a son-in-law, Glenn Venza; grandchildren, Misty and Christopher Venza, Justin, Jessica, and Jordan Manners; one great-grandson, Malaki; a brother, Wayne E. Everett; and her beloved dog, Emily. Linda was predeceased by a brother, Roy E. Everett and a sister, Janett Kline.
Funeral Services for Linda will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11am at St. James Lutheran Church (Straw Church); 1213 Highway Route 22; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. A visitation of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm at the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Pkwy; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 and on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 10am until service time in the church. Interment will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
