Mamie E. Dennis July 7, 2011 Mamie E. Dennis, 90, formerly of Cortland and Fabius, NY, passed away Thursday morning, July 7, 2011, at Loretto in Syracuse, NY. Mrs. Dennis had worked at Smith Corona in Cortland for 18 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Fabius Community Church. Surviving are one son, Jack (Jane) Dennis of Camillus, NY; three daughters, Louise (Earl) Waite of East Syracuse, NY, Connie (Douglas) Reynolds of Preble, NY, and Judy Dennis of Minoa, NY; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dennis was predeceased by two brothers, Ernest and Dexter Paddock. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2011, at Hartwell Funeral Home, Tully, NY, with the Rev.
