Cleatis O. Little, 96, of Camargo Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was born in Menifee County, Kentucky on July 23, 1919 the son of the late James Everett and Lenah Denniston Little. He was retired owner/operator of grocery and jewelry store and a farmer. He was a member of the Camargo Church of God and a veteran of the US Air Force being a 1st Lieutenant who flew 35 missions over France and Germany as a navigator on a B24 bomber.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years Jewell Smith Little of Mt. Sterling; a daughter, Linda (William) Lindstorm of Mt. Sterling; a sister, Lucille Murphy of Ezel, KY; six grandchildren, Mannajai (Scott) Linder, Jeularlet (Rex) McClanahan, Mutch Sabounchi, Fairshinda (Paul) McLaughlin, Fairreia (Craig) Gipe and Erika Lindstorm; ten great grandchildren; a sister and brother in law, Carol and Roy Bowman of Georgetown, KY and a niece, Katrina (Richard) McLean of Georgetown.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Curtis officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday evening from 5-8 PM at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Rex McClanahan, Paul McLaughlin, Mutch Sabounchi, Roy Bowman, Richard McLean and Craig Gipe. Military rites will be performed.
