Born February 18, 1901, in Provo, Utah, to John William and Lavina Clark Williamson. She spent her early years in Provo, moving to Salt Lake City, where she graduated from West High School in 1918. She married C. Douglas Wiest September 16, 1925. He died November 20, 1951.

An active member of the LDS Church, she enjoyed serving in Relief Society and sharing her artistic talents with friends there.

An ardent golfer, she once hit a hole in one. Nana's greatest joy in life came from loving and serving her family and many friends.
