Joshua Lynn Walker, 28, of Fort Knox, Ky., formerly of Greenfield, died July 9, 2000. born June 19, 1972, in Tompkinsville, Ky., he was the son of Ralph and Editha Jane Walker of Frankfort, Ind.

He was a graduate of Frankfort High School and a U.S. Army soldier. He was in the Charlie Company as a specialist. His awards and decorations included two Army Achievement Awards, two Good Conduct Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon and the NATO medal. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Greenfield.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Jo (Lodwick) Walker, whom he married April 30, 1993; son Cody Robert Walker of Fort Knox, Ky.; and paternal grandparents Raymond and Gladys Unger of Sedalia.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff, Ky. Full military honors will be given at graveside services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Park Cemetery with Father Stanley J. Herber officiating.
