Loretta A. Combs, 95, of Louisville, passed away Thursday at Meadows East. She was the former Loretta A. Ott, a member of the old St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and its Altar Society and a current member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dixie Combs; two daughters, Dolores J. York and Shirley Ann Combs; two sisters, Eleanor Hofmann and Dorothy Ward; and four brothers, Harry Meyers, and Bud, Charles and Marvin Ott. She is survived by seven sons, Donald L. (Elfie), Kenneth R. (Sylvia), Stanley B. (Carolyn), David J., James W. (Mary Jo), Thomas E. (Karen) and John R. (Kay) Combs; a daughter, Norma J. Combs; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 1020 E. Burnett Ave., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-9 p.m. Sunday at Bosse Funeral home, Barrett and Ellison Aves. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air or St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church.
