David attended St. Dominic's grade school, Bishop Hartley High School (1964), and Ohio Dominican College (1972).
He proudly served as a service bailiff for Franklin County Municipal Courts for over 25 years in addition to operating the David A. Glenn Insurance Agency for many years. During his years of service, David was also a Boy Scout Leader for St. Dominic's and ran for State Representative of Ohio.
A true Renaissance man, David spent time studying photography and creating a community garden in his Driving Park neighborhood where he was a life-long resident, former President of the Driving Park Association, and a standing committee member. He also served as the Executive Director for the Saint John Learning Center, while donating his salary back to the church. He remained a devoted parishioner of Holy Rosary and Saint John Catholic Church.
After retiring for a short time, he returned to work as a clerk in the Probate Court Department in Franklin County, where he was most recently working.
David was a man who valued family and friends, and he taught his family many important lessons during his life. He was truly loved and will be dearly missed.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Rebecca and Lee Andrew Glenn and brother, Jack Glenn.
