Jessica “Jessie” Mae Williams , 22, of Sedalia passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at her home in Sedalia. She was born on June 3, 1993 in Sedalia, the daughter of Wayne W. Williams and Debra S. (Cope) Williams who survive.

She was a 2011 graduate of Blue Springs South High School where she was very active in theater, forensics and debate. She attended William Jewel College and University of Missouri Columbia. She also worked as a server at Texas Road House in Blue Springs. She enjoyed politics, reading, watching movies, and listening to music.

Besides her parents, she is survived by a sister, Andrea Ray, of Sedalia and a brother, Cristopher Williams (Samantha) Holloman Air Force, New Mexico; a niece, Lydia Gaspard, maternal grandparents, Terry and Dorothy Hunt of Sedalia.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Evelyn and Mickey Williams; maternal grandfather, Gaylan Cope.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Steve Schilb officiating.

Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Kimberly, Bob Cochran, Tim Jordan, Tom Middlebrooks, Chad McRoy, and Dennis Ehlert.

Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Springs South High School National Forensics League, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
