Carol Ann White Bryan passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the age of 61, after a short but courageous battle with a very aggressive form of cancer. She was the beloved wife of Anthony V. Bryan Sr. for 44 years. Loving mother of Anthony Bryan Jr., Paul Bryan, Robin Leslie and Paula St. Angelo. Mother-in-law of Leslie Bryan, Jenny Bryan, Mike St. Angelo and the late Douglas Leslie. Daughter of Lester White Sr. and the late Enola Kieff White. Sister of Lester White Jr., Marsha White, Sharon Taglialavore, Kathy Shemack, Dianne Toucheck, Gary & Terry Mackles and the late Timmy Dale. Proud grandmother of Anthony III, Felicia, Paul, Hayden, Hannah & Hallie Bryan; Michael & Kyle St. Angelo; Spencer, Brent & Brandon Leslie; and the late Merlin Campo III. Great grandmother of Dylan Bryan. Loving godmother of Trina Taglialavore-Wilson and Jeffrey & Michelle Bryan. Nana of John & Tori Wilson. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carol was a native of St. Bernard Parish and a resident of Covington, LA since Hurricane Katrina. Although her illness made her appear frail, she possessed strength, perseverance and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. Her courage has led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched. A special and sincere ‘thank you’ to her devoted sister and caregiver, Marsha White.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, December 23rd from 9:30AM – 12:30PM. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2805 Bayou Rd., St. Bernard, LA beginning at 1:00PM. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
