Polly Gilman, 96 of Whitman departed this life February 10, 2016 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 3, 1919 at Omar the daughter of the late James and Fannie Crum.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard and son Russell.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her sons Richard Jr. (Penny) of Las Vegas, NV, Reather (Becky) and Randall of Whitman, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Illness prevented Polly from attending Church but she was a Christian since 2006 and loved her Pastor and the 20 Whitman Community Church.
A special thanks to all of Polly’s caregivers throughout the last 10 years. Lastly, thank you to her doctors, Radha, Satish, Marzouk, and Mullen and the nurses and staff of Logan Regional Medical Center for their compassionate and professional care.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday February 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. at 20 Whitman Community Church with Rev. Joaquine Ooten officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Sunday February 14, 2016 at the Church.
