Elizabeth M. (Van Zante) Mitchel, 93, of Pella, IA, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Jefferson Place in Pella. Betty, wife of the late Lester Steenhoek and Hopkins Mitchel, is survived by her son, Paul Steenhoek, and his wife, Sheryl, of Pella and their three children: Shannon and Dave Ott of Denver, CO, Jeff and Elizabeth Steenhoek of Centennial, CO, Sara and John Vidoni of Fort Walton Beach, FL.
