McGinnis, William F.
William F. McGinnis, 75, 123 Karaway Hills, died Friday night at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Survivors: wife, Audrey L. McGinnis; son, The Rev. Jerry L. McGinnis, Gadsden; daughter, Martha Green, Gadsden. Crestwood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Crestwood Chapel with the Rev. Ted Elrod and Dr. James Sampley officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Other survivors: grandsons, Jimmy and Jeffrey McGinnis and Michael Green; granddaughters, Tina McGinnis and Robin Hill; great-grandchild, Christopher Hill; brothers, Fred and James McGinnis, Gadsden; sisters, Dorothy McCain and Mildred Connell, Gadsden; son-in-law, Raymond Green; daughter-in-law, Sadie McGinnis; special friends, Ed Sprayberry, James Cranford and Don McGinnis. Mr. McGinnis was retired from Leach Manufacturing Co. He was a member and deacon of North Highland Baptist Church. The body will remain at Crestwood Chapel through the hour of service. The family requests that memorials be made to North Highland Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
