Gladys Yvonne Owens 89, of Highlands, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 10, 2016. Yvonne was born on September 2, 1926 in Oklahoma to Joseph and Lois (Davidson) Patterson.
Mee Maw as her family knew her, worked at Foleys in sales and was a very devoted member of Second Baptist Church in Highlands and Eastern Star Crosby Chapter. In her free time Mee Maw enjoyed traveling, line dancing, being active in her church and Eastern Star and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Mee Maw was a very sweet, loving, caring and outgoing woman who never met a stranger, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Owens; parents, Joseph and Lois Patterson; daughter, Donna Gayle Owens; brothers, Charles Patterson, Joseph Patterson, David Patterson; and sister, Gwen Barnett.
Yvonne is survived by her son, James Owens and wife Judy; son, T.D. (Danny) Owens and wife Laura; grandson, Jay Roger Owens; grandson, Randall Keith Owens; grandson, Jeremy Dan Owens and wife Jennifer; granddaughter, Staci Michelle Biscamp and husband Jason; granddaughter, Wendi Danita Owens-Kelleher and husband Ryan; granddaughter, Kaysie Danise Owens; grandson, Jonathan Daniel Bohannon and wife Jacqueline; brother, Dennis Patterson and wife Marsha; great grandchildren, Alex Romo, Krissie Romo, Jayson Owens, Jaxx Bohannon, Sawyer Biscamp, Sophie DelGreco, Jaysie Livingston, Max Livingston, Zoe Biscamp, Brayden Bohannon, Bryson Bohannon, Liam Kelleher, Dashel Biscamp; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
