Laura V. Sanchez, 86, of Ronks, PA passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was born in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Victor Sexton and Henrietta Newton (Disbrow) Webb. Her husband of 58 years, Maximino Robles Sanchez, Sr., passed away in 2012. Laura had operated her own stand of candies at Central Market, then worked at the Utz market stand. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Lancaster, she traveled extensively, enjoyed playing cards. She was a kind soul and a mother to many, and enjoyed cooking for others.
Surviving are her children, Michael married to Robin Sanchez of Lititz, Mark married to Susan Sanchez of Ellicott City, MD, Scott married to Pam Sanchez of Pequea, Robin married to Harlan Reigh of Rothsville; half siblings, Duane Webb, Jane Cox, and Diane Lennox. Also surviving are grandchildren, Chet, Shane, Shelby, Devon, Chase, and Allison; great grandchildren, Shayna, Jazmine, Kloe, Payton, Sarah, and Skyler; great great grandchildren, Isabella and Logan; stepmother, Ella Mae Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Maximino Sanchez, Jr.; grandchildren, Maximeno Sanchez III, and Shannon; brothers, Victor, Charles, David, and Heber Webb; sisters, Carrie Groff, Mary Webb; half brothers, Lyle and Edward Webb.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services at Fred F. Groff, Inc., 234 W. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 at 7:00 PM with viewing prior from 6-7:00 PM. Burial will be on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 11:00 AM from Mellingers Mennonite Cemetery, Lincoln Hwy. East and Greenfield Road, Lancaster, PA.
