Emma Mae Pennington Cantrell, my great grandmother, raised my mother as her baby and went on to consider us as her grandchildren. She is remembered as being such a perfect housekeeper that nothing ever was out of place. Her husband, Robert, worked in Oak Ridge for years only coming home on weekends. She raised the children... kept the house... raised the garden... did the yard work... all this and making it look soooo easy. She was a very respected and dedicated christian woman.
