Clarence W. Dennis, 65, of DeRuyter Rd., Fabius, died suddenly at work Friday afternoon in Highland Forest. He was a forester for Onondaga County.

Mr. Dennis was born June 9, 1900 in Fabius, the son of Carlton and Sarah Phinney Dennis.

Surviving are his wife, Gladys Eisanan Dennis and six daughters, Mrs Stewart Davis of Little York, Mrs. Richard Fuller of Fabius, Mrs. George Bailey of Apulia, Mrs. Patrick Duca of Cortland, Mrs. Richard Wood of DeRuyter, and Kareen Dennis of Fabius. Three sons, Clarence (Sonny) of Moravia; Richard of Delphi Falls and Van of Fabius. 27 grandchildren and brothers, Leon of Cuyler and Ira of Syracuse.

Funeral will be held Monday at Smith Funeral Home, DeRuyter at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fabius NY.
