Carolyn Ann Axtell 7 9, of Beech Grove, passed away Tuesday,February 9, 2016 after a year long battle with cancer. She was born in Ohio on December 22, 1936 to Harry Weaver and Lilly Weaver.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters Karen Sue Ginsberg, Kathy Mitchel, and son Robert Poyck. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Weaver, sister Elna Stoner and son William Poyck.

Carolyn graduated with a bachelor's degree from Kent State University. She was a member of MENSA and enjoyed vacations and spending time with her great-grandchildren. Carolyn was employed with the State of Indiana for decades, helping Hoosiers get and keep jobs.

Visitation will beheld on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46226 from 11:00AM till Services beginning at 1:00PM. Entombment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
