Anthony “Tony” Hawkins, age 51, of Blaine, MN, formerly of Hudson, WI, passed away January 19, 2016.
Tony was born December 29, 1964 in Stillwater, MN, the son of Ed and Peg Hawkins. He graduated from Hudson High School, the Class of 1983. Tony’s life was blessed with two children, Jackie and Brett. Tony worked as a cement finisher for Cement Masons - Local 633 for 30 years.
Outside of work, Tony was a true outdoorsman, enjoying the peacefulness of hunting and fishing. He was a devoted Green Bay Packer fan, delighting in cheering on his team. Although Tony faced many challenges in his life, he remained strong and always had a good outlook. He was gracious, always put others first, shining the spotlight on those around him.
Tony will remain in the hearts of his daughter, Jackie Hawkins of Tucson, AZ; son, Brett Hawkins of Moose Lake, MN; parents, Ed & Peg Hawkins of Hudson, WI; brother, Scott Hawkins of New Richmond, WI; life partner, Virginia Curley of Blaine, MN; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place 12 NOON Monday, January 25 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St., Hudson. Family and Friends may gather one hr prior to Mass at the church. Private interment will take place at a later date. O’Connell Family Funeral Home obituary & picture
