Sherry B. Daniels, 64, of Burlington, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at her home.

Born July 30, 1951, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Charles William and Ruth Cooper Johnson.

Sherry was a registered nurse for 40 years. She had worked as a nurse in several hospitals in Miami, FL, St. Louis, MO, and Las Vegas, NV. She had retired from Great River Medical Center Klein's Center in 2012.

She was a 1969 graduate of Burlington High School. She was in the first graduating class of the nursing program at Southeastern Community College.

In 1986 she returned from Nevada to take care of her mother and to be near her family. Together, Sherry and her mother enjoyed traveling. Since Sherry and Ruth loved to travel, they took many trips including a trip in 1994 to England and France, where her father had been during WWII, and a trip in 2000 where they had traveled through Italy. She had also enjoyed reading, shopping, and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Dick Miller.
