Owen was the eldest of 6 children born to Alfred Lermond & Annie D Fales. He was variously employed as a carpenter, joiner, & building carpenter. He married Jennie A Banks on February 4, 1895 in Thomaston. They had 3 children: Carrie I b.12/1895, John S b.1/1897, & Elda F b abt 1908.
