Lori Furr Roberts, 54, of Charlotte, formerly of Mt. Gilead died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Edwards Funeral Home in Mount Gilead. Rev. Ronnie Sexton will officiate and burial will follow in McRae Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Edwards Funeral Home in Mount Gilead.
Mrs. Roberts was born August 3, 1961 in Stanly County to the late Marshall Monroe Furr and Margaret Ann Whitley Furr, who survives. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Albemarle.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Dossie Roberts, Jr.; brother, Daniel Allan Furr and grandparents, George Whitley, Lucy Gibson Troutman, Daniel Furr and Pauline Furr Davenport.
She is survived by her son, James Daniel Roberts and daughter, Holly Brianna Roberts of Mount Gilead; brother, Marshall Dale Furr of Charlotte; sister, Lisa Furr Ward of Matthews; and granddaughter, Carley Michelle Roberts.
