Survivors include his father, John A. Murphy and fiancee, Darla. of Shelbyville; mother)Angela C. Gibbs of Greenfield: sisters,Rebecca (Lenne) Greene of Texas and Tiffany Potter of Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and grandmother Gail Gibbs. Mr. Murphy graduated from Shelbyville High School.
He was employed by Circle K and a lifetime resident of the area.
Service were held Monday at the funeral home.
