Daniel McAllister

Celebration of the life of Daniel R. McAllister will be 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2005, in the chapel of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Daniel resided in Volusia County where he started his own business, AAA Welding & Security, Inc., along with a good friend and partner, John Moye. Voted one of the top Ten Million Dollar Companies in Volusia County and published in the News-Journal in 2004.

Daniel gave back to his community by donating decorative iron gates to Pinewood Cemetery on Mainstreet in Daytona Beach. He was also involved in many other community projects such as Girl Scouts, school band, football and drama clubs. He loved children.

Daniel is survived by his daughter he so deeply loved, Sarah Lina McAllister; his parents who will never stop hurting from this loss, Daniel McAllister and Peggy McAllister, both of Maryland; sister, Lina White, Maryland; and nieces and nephews, Jen, Jenny and Adam.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a trust fund that has been set up for his daughter, Sarah Lina McAllister, at any Colonial Bank Branch, account # 80307935. Thank you to all that have had the pleasure of knowing and loving Daniel. Tributes to Daniel and condolences to the McAllister family may be sent to www.mem.com.
