Mildred was born on January 31, 1931, in Houston, TX, the daughter of John and Florida (Mason) Taylor. She touched many lives throughout her work services as a CNA for over 20 years at Trinity Health and later as a TSA Officer at the Minot International Airport. Mildred volunteered for many years in the Minot Public School System as a foster grandparent reading to the children.
She was a devoted member of St. Leo The Great Roman Catholic Church, Minot.
Survivors: sisters, Hazel and Joyce, Houston, TX; children, Jacqueline Fuller, Damascus, OR, Cephus Vaughn, Amherst, NY, Juanella Vaughn, and Tarie Vaughn, both of Hopkins, MN and Peter Vaughn, Minot; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Joseph and John Taylor.Mildred J. (Taylor) Vaughn , 85, Minot, loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away February 8, 2016, at a Minot nursing home.
