She was born on December 23, 1924 in Cumberland, Colo.
She was predeceased by her parents, C.T. and Lucile Agee; and her brother, Earl Agee.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Robert C. Johnson; several nieces and nephews, Luci Agee Wright (Bruce), Judy Johnson Bolt, Kay Johnson Baber (Andy), Helen Johnson Harford, Frank Johnson (Linda), Jay Johnson (Nancy), including great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Loreen graduated in 1945 from Longwood College as a music major. She taught at Cumberland High School and later worked at the State Retirement System in Richmond. She was an active member at Westover Hills United Methodist Church and served on the chancel guild, United Methodist Women, memorial and interior decoration committees, etc. In addition, Loreen was a member of the James River Woman's Club and gave tours at the governor's mansion. A graveside service will be held Friday, February 12, at Westview Cemetery in Farmville, Va.
