He was the third of six children born to Clannie and Bertie Jennings and was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Vincent Jennings for over 50 years. He was also predeceased by his devoted daughter Angela Maxwell. Travis will forever be remembered by his surviving brothers Bobby Wayne and Ralph, son-in-law Dan Maxwell, son Travis Jr, daughter-in-law Dora, grandchildren Patrick and Natalie Wells, Lyle and Natalia Jennings, along with 4 great-grandchildren, his cousin Betty Sue Davis and countless other family and friends who were blessed to know him.
Travis dedicated his life to the service of others. His country, community, family and friends reaped the benefit of his selfless actions. He loved solving cross-word and jig-saw puzzles, laughing, being with his family, playing with his dog Cody and created beautiful flower gardens. Travis touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, maintaining his trademark sense of humor to the end.
Friends and family are invited to attend visitation/viewing on Thursday, 11 February at 12:00 – 1:30 pm at Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a graveside memorial service with military honors at 2:00 pm at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
