Died Friday, July 6, 1990, at her residence. She was 12, a native of Baker and resident of Baton Rouge. She was a student at Glen Oaks Middle School. Visiting at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Baker, noon until religious services at 3 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by Dr. Lionel Lee. Burial in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by parents, Sharon A. Horton and Anthony Nelson, Baton Rouge; a sister, Shemika R. Nelson; and three brothers, Juara Nelson, Jeremy S. and Jordan Horton, all of Baton Rouge; maternal grandparents, Harold and Dorraine Horton, Baker; paternal grandparents, Cleveland and Margaret Lemon, Baton Rouge; eight aunts; three uncles; numerous other relatives and friends.
