Essie Mae McCovery Ellzey - a resident of Moss Point, MS., died Monday, March 31, 2008 at her resident. She was 80. Her survivors includes two daughters Catherine Benning of Mobile, Stella Cleveland of Birmingham, AL., and one son Willie E. King of Bermerton, WA., 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Providence Baptist Church, Ben Hamilton Rd., in Grand Bay, AL., from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. Sympathetic and professional services are by Memorial Funeral Home 1302 St. Stephens Rd., Prichard, AL 36610.
