Charlotte Boyd Williams Adkins, 95, of Milton, WV, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016, at the Putnam Center, Hurricane. She was born January 15, 1921, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Don Otis Boyd and Bertha Chapman Boyd. She graduated from Milton High School in 1940. Charlotte was raised in Milton. She worked at Roberts Dept. Store and Island Creek Coal Store She was also preceded in death by her husbands, George Williams and William Adkins. She is survived by three daughters Sherry Perry (Don) of Milton, Sandra Young (Don) of Carlisle, PA, and Paula Ray of Fayetteville, NC; three grandchildren, Cathy Perry, David Perry, and Travis Young; four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Rev. Allen Stewart. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated, however, in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to ECCHO 1038 Smith Street, Milton, WV, 25541.
