HACKBART, Glen Surrounded by his loved ones, Glen passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital at the age of 63. Loving soulmate for 30 years to Lisa McInnis. Dear brother of Gary (Florence), Bruce (Maria), Gerald (Carolyn), Brian (Trisha), Neil (Janice), Kathryn (Bill) Troubridge and Carolyn Benyair. Son-in-law of Thelma and the late Foster McInnis. Brother-in-law of Robert, Kevin (Marlene) and Sharon (Scott) Maxwell. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Fred and Rose Hackbart, and his brothers, Lloyd and Raymond. Glen was a long time employee of Excalibur. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Polish Branch 412 and one of his many passions was horse racing. Glen's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
