Christopher L. Benson, 42, of Montoursville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Md.
He was a son of Leland W. "Lee" and Helen M. Meixel Benson.

Christopher worked for his family business, L.W. Benson Construction Co.

He was a member of New Covenant United Church of Christ where he served on the church council, its youth group, and collections.

He loved his Corvette, going to Corvette shows, playing cards, going out to eat and was passionate about politics.

He was predeceased by his father, Lee.

He is survived by his mother, Helen, of Montoursville; his companion of 20 years, Amy, his half brothers, Leland of Muncy, Wayne F. of Williamsport, and James L. of South Williamsport; his sister, Sharon Y. of Scranton; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Interment: the Montoursville Cemetery.
