Age 59, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. He was born December 3, 1956 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of Jerry and Judith (LaBumbard) James. Terry loved watching sports and was a diehard Detroit sports fan. He was a major Harley Davison motorcycle enthusiast. Survivors include: two children, Jeremy James of Ypsilanti and Amber (Steven) Adams of Westland, MI; three grandchildren; three brothers, Larry (Jamie) James of Brooklyn, MI, David (Theresa) James of Ypsilanti and Mark Choma of Canton, MI; special friend Renee Morgan; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts. He was preceded in death by his mother Judith LaBumbard. The funeral service will be 1:30 pm, Friday, February 12, 2016 at Stark Funeral Service. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home where the family will receive friends 7-9 pm Thursday.
