Marlow - ANNIE LEE COCHRAN, 88, of Marlow, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2006 in Duncan.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm today in Marlow Cemetery, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Annie was born April 12, 1918 in Owens Prairie Community, Stephens County, to Nathan Henry Stark and Jessie Lee Parker Stark. Annie attended the Collie, Gatlin and Stover schools.
She married Kenneth Byron Cochran on August 2, 1939, in Marlow. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1991.
She lived on various farms in Stephens County before moving in May of 1946 to her home at 209 W. Caddo. Annie enjoyed canning, crocheting, quilting, needle work and making doilies.
She was a member of Woodmen of the World, AARP and a 50-year member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church in Marlow.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth G. "Jake" Cochran of Marlow; two granddaughters, Jill Doyle and husband Bruce of Duncan, and Tracie Jenkins and husband Randy of Lebanon, Tenn; five great-grandchildren, Ginna and Haley Doyle, and Jody, Jake and Checotah Jenkins; a great-great- grandson, Jacob "Shaw" Jenkins; two brothers, N.H. Stark, Jr. of Oklahoma City, and Joe Stark and wife Ernestine of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Mary Francis Davis of Marlow; and a sister-in-law, Bobby Stark of Oklahoma City, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Paul, John and Jim Stark, and a sister, Irene McCauley.
