Denise Rena Bailey, 53, of Berryville, Virginia, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 in the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, Virginia.
Ms. Bailey was born July 13, 1962 in Winchester, Virginia, daughter of Leon C. Bailey and Christine Jones Bailey.
She was an insurance claims clerk with the National Association of Letters Carriers.
She was a volunteer with Relay for Life; and the assistant secretary of Sunday school and member of the gospel choir at St. Luke Baptist Church, Berryville, Virginia.
Surviving with her mother is her son, Charles L. Bailey of Berryville, VA; three sisters, Andrea Brown of Winchester, VA, Shari Morrison of Winchester, VA and Lisa Bailey of Berryville, VA; five aunts; three uncles; two nieces; three nephews; a number of cousins and friends; and a special friend, Mel.
Her father preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Friday, February 12, 2016 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA with Rev. Charles Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Franklintown, WV.
