Mr. Stephen Carl Shelton passed away suddenly July 15, 2011. He was born February 6, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Shelton was retired from J. B. Coxwell Construction Company and was a U. S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Shelton is survived by: his wife Alice Steffan Shelton; sons Andrew and Travis Shelton; daughter Stacey (Anthony) Chowning; grandchildren Kimberlee Hope and Gabriella Faith; brother Richard Shelton; many nieces and nephews; and many other family members. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Edith Shelton and sisters Nancy and Carlene. The family will receive friends Friday, July 22, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.
