A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday February 10, 2016 in Oak Ridge Cemetery, St. Pauls, with the Reverend Donald Goforth Officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday February 9, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls. Ms. Beard was born in Robeson County December 15, 1943 to the late Grover Elton and Nancy Thelma Haggins Watts. She was a loving homemaker. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Timothy Beard and his wife Renee; daughter, Nancy Beard Jones and her husband, Billy; grandchildren, Ashley Strickland and her husband Walt, Tara White, Aaron Beard and Brittany Beard; and great grandson, Mason.
