Peggy Hemric Wiles, wife of E. R. Wiles, of Thurmond died Monday, January 26, 2009 at Heritage Healthcare of Elkin.
Mrs. Wiles was born in Wilkes County, on January 17, 1929, to Beamer and Etta Curry Hemric.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wiles was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Hemric.
In addition to her husband of 60 years, Mrs. Wiles is survived by one son, Michael Wiles and wife, Brenda of Hays; two sisters, Agnes Holcomb of Jonesville and Betty Mallory of Chesapeake, VA.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 2:00 at Roaring Gap Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
