Nellie M. Cooper, 89, Marion, died at 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Summit Convalescent Center, Summitville. She was born in Forbus, Tennessee to the late Clovis and Sissie (Asbury) Crabtree. She married John Cooper on May 25, 1945 and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1984. Nellie was a homemaker and she enjoyed watching TV.
Survivors include her children, John Gary (Pat) Cooper, Sr., Summitville, Rosemary Smith, Marion, and JoAnn (Larry) Heck, Arvada, CO; several brothers and sisters, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, John Cooper, and parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her daughter Evelyn Niccum; and two grandchildren, John Gary Cooper, Jr., and Shawn Brown.
