Services were conducted November 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the chapel of the German-Aumon Funeral Home for Charlie C. Hall of the Cottonwood Community. The Rev. Don Abbott officiated.
On November 3, services were held at Sand Ridge Baptist Church, Lexington, Tenn., at 2 p.m. with the Rev. E. Estes Ashley and the Rev. Gaylon Williams officiating.
Masonic graveside services were held by the Juno Masonic Lodge.
Burial was at Sand Ridge Cemetery, Lexington.
Mr. Hall was born July 7, 1886, in Lexington, Tenn., and died October 31 at the Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti. He had been a resident of Cottonwood for 35 years.
He leaves his widow, Ms. Sudie Hall and four daughters: Ms. Nell Pierce, Steele; Ms. Ola Abbott, Caruthersville, Route 1; Ms. Louise Green, Lexington, Tenn.; and Ms. Emma Ashley, Flint, Mich. He also leaves a son, Pierson Hall, Flint, and three brothers: Roy Hall, Jackson, Tenn.; Riley and Tom Hall, both of Lexington, and 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
