Rose was born in Marion, Wisconsin on April 1, 1905 to Lizzie Draheim and Frederick William Strohschoen. She attended local schools. On April 18, 1925, she married Arthur Wolf. Art died in 1962. In 1971, She married Edward Herman in Michigan. Upon his death, she returned to Sheboygan, and died on October 13, 1990. She was survived by her sons Frederick and Marvin of Sheboygan, step-sons Clarence (Agnes) of Sheboygan, Lloyd (Peggy) of Stronghurst, IL and Wallace (Gayle) of Warren, MI, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She was buried in Lutheran Cemetery at the gravesite of her first husband, Arthur.
