She was born in San Jose, CA and moved to Calaveras County in 1977. She married her Junior High sweetheart Bob in 1961. Together they raised six children, and were a devoted Grammy and Grandpa to eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She worked in the lunchroom at both Hazel Fischer Elementary School and Bret Harte
High School. She also loved cooking, sewing,
quilting, gardening, and hiking. Her favorite place in the world was Lake Tahoe where she spent as much time as possible camping, biking and just enjoying the beauty.
She was preceded by her mother Patricia Johnson of Arnold, CA. She is survived by her husband Bob Johnson of Copperopolis, and children Kimberley Tucker, Jill Johnson, Melissa Robnett, Bob Johnson, Natalie Vetter, and Lindee Creech. She is also survived by her two sisters Jennifer Cass and Lisa Johnson.
