Anna Jean "Jeanie" Wade (Mrs. Dyke) has been reunited with the heavenly choir of angels at the age of 90.
Devoted teacher of TUSD for 30 years.
She's preceded in death by her son, George; and three of her siblings.
As matriarch, she is succeeded by sister, Ivey; her children, Rudy, Jr. "Boy," Cecilia "CC," and Steve; three grandchildren, Zoya, and twins Felicia and Dominic; great-grandson, Hunter, to whom she was "G.G."; and great-granddaughters, step- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, students, and many friends. Her spirit will be with us always and will be missed by all.
We invite all those she touched to remember her in life with a funeral Mass of Christian Burial celebrated Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral in Tucson, Arizona (where for over 65 years she was an active member and sang in the choir), followed directly by a procession to South Lawn Cemetery.
Arrangements by Desert Rose Heather Mortuary.
