Could this person, JEREMIAH "Jerry" PIERCE, who accompanied George Davis, Willis Chamberlain, and my 3rd great grandfather, William Martin, who married Sally Pierce, no relation to Jeremiah Pierce, to make the second settlement in Dyer County, Tennessee four and three-fourth miles east of Dyersburg 1821-22 be buried in this cemetery? He married Sally Parker in 1813 in Davidson County, Tennessee. However, Sarah Ann Pierce, who married Nathaniel Porter is not the daughter of Jeremiah "Jerry" Pierce. Jeremiah "Jerry" PIerce has a sibling with almost the identical name. The maiden name of the wife of Nathaniel Porter is unknown to this researcher at this time.
